  PRICE per person in room with shower and WC on the northern side:

  REDUCTION for 7 nights per person:
  from the 3^rd person in the room onwards:
  children until the age of 3 years the night is free, from the age of 3 to 6 years minus 50 %, from the age of 6 to 12 years minus 30 % an from the age of 12 years minus 10 %

  SURCHARGE for 7 nights per person:
  single room plus 70,--

  “COUNT OF CYCLE“

  Become “Count of Cycle“ in Carinthia!
  Take your bike and cycle about 460 km all across Carinthia.

  How it works:
  For a nomination fee of 20,-- you receive from us a participant card and then you can start off immediately.

  You cycle about 460 km across the beautiful Carinthian landscape on a predetermined route. Your effort is finally honoured with the regalia of the “Faaker See Count of Cycle”, which are awarded in a solemn ceremony. Please return your participant card by three hours before the ceremony (Thursdays at 20:00 o’clock in Radhotel Faaker See) at latest and

  • the “Count-necklet” with medal

  • the “Count-band” in the Carinthian colours

  • the “Count-certificate”

  (included in the nomination fee) are waiting for you!

  

  COUNT OF CYCLE – CYCLING TOUR DESCRIPTION

  1. Route of the Cycling World Championship: 5 x à 12 km, 60 km
     K=(Control point with stamp) before the start and after the finish in Radhotel Faakersee
  2. Rosental-Tour, 90 km
     Faaker See – Rosegg – Selpritsch – St. Egyden – Ludmannsdorf – Köttmannsdorf – Hollenburg (K) – Feistritz – St. Jakob – Latschach – Faaker See
  3. Gailtal-Drautal-Tour, 100 km
     Faaker See – Finkenstein – Fürnitz – Arnoldstein – Feitritz/Gail – Vordernberg Windische Höhe (K) – Feistritz/Drau – Weißenstein – Puch – Töplitsch – Langauen – Villach – Warmbad – Müllnern – Finkenstein – Faaker See
  4. Seentour, 100 km
     Faaker See – Rosegg – Selpritsch – Schiefling – Keutschacher See – Viktring Klagenfurt (K) – Krupmendorf – Pörtschach – Moosburg – Feldkirchen Ossiach – Landskron – Wernberg – St. Niklas – Faaker See
  5. Seen/Nockgebiet, 110 km
     Tour Faaker See – Villach – Treffen – Radenthein – Bad Kleinkirchheim (K) – Patergassen – Feldkirchen – Ossiacher See-Nordufer – Villach – Maria Gail – Faaker See.

  Indication:
  Concerning the control stamps we don’t have fixed a precise point. In all of the indicated places every hospitable restaurant will provides you the company stamp with pleasure. Before the start please get the control stamp in Radhotel Faakersee in Drobollach at Lake Faaker See.

  

  „DOCTOR OF CYCLE“

  At Lake Faaker See doctor hats are distributed to bikers!
  Achieve the „Doctor of Cycle“ with good condition and your bike.

  
  
  

  What you have to do for:
  Ascend with your bike the mountain roads to the Goldeck 14,5 km, the Villacher Alpe 16,5 km, and the Großglockner 27 km until the Franz-Josephs-Höhe.

  It works easily:
  You go to the tollgate of the individual mountain street. There ask for a stamp with date on a piece of paper prepared by yourself with your name, birthday date, and address.

  Then you can ride up the mountain street.

  At the target point you stamp again.
  If you made all the three mountains within one summer, then submit the three stamped papers by three hours before the ceremony (Thursdays at 20:00 o’clock in Radhotel Faaker See) at latest.
  In a ceremony the dignity of the Doctor of Cycle together with a Doctor hat and Doctor certificate are presented to you. Contribution towards costs for hat and document 20,--.

  

  “EMPEROR OF CYCLE“

  If you are of the opinion that there are enough “Counts of Cycle“ and almost everybody is a “Doctor of Cycle“, then the “Emperor of Cycle“ is the very thing for you.

  What you have to do:
  Additionally to the three mountain tours of the “Doctor of Cycle” (Villacher Alpenstraße, Goldeck, and Großglockner) you conquer two more mountain streets: Malta-Hochalmstraße 18,3 km and Nockalmstraße 34,5 km from the tollgate in Ebene Reichenau through the Nationalpark Nockberge to the tollgate Innerkrems.

  It works easily:
  You go to the tollgate of the individual mountain street. There ask for a stamp with date on a piece of paper prepared by yourself with your name, birthday date, and address.

  Then you can ride up the mountain street.

  At the target point you stamp again.
  If you made all the five mountains within one summer, then submit the three stamped papers by three hours before the ceremony (Thursdays at 20:00 o’clock in Radhotel Faaker See) at latest.
  In a ceremony the dignity of the Emperor of Cycle is presented to you together with a purple cap, a medal, and a certificate as “Emperor of Cycle”. Contribution towards costs for cap, medal and document 20,--.

• Cycling-tours

  CYCLING TOURS STARTING AT RADHOTEL FAAKERSEE

  “Bikers of all kind“! Best conditions for all bikers, whether you ride a touring bicycle, racing cycle, or a mountain bike.

  The basin of Villach together with Lake Faaker See are situated in a region called “Mittelkärnten” (middle Carinthia), where the biggest valleys come together. Therefore a wonderful Eldorado for bikers is formed!

  Through the diversity of our landscape, the lakes, and the mountains, there are plenty possibilities to organize individual routes between 20 and 220 km, combined with sightseeing, stops at good traditional restaurants, or a refreshing swim in one of beautiful lakes.

  Hence, we don’t want to influence you too much by our proposed tours! There is always the possibility for a perfect tour, where even our regular guest will see something new.
